Breeding a green rose is almost impossible. The green rose is the ultimate challenge for rose creators around the world. And yet, the House of Meilland Richardier has managed to do it and proved to everyone that the green rose is possible.
The Lovely Green is a rose with an unique and amazing colour, able to surprise one at first sight. It is a special rose, full of elegance and grace. Its flowers never open fully, thus preserving the elegant shape of a semi-open flower.
The Lovely Green rose blooms into an abundance of white-green, double flowers, from June to September. Its leaves are fringed, have a bright green colour and a finely serrated edge, which only comes to enhance the charm of this rose. The Lovely Green grows upright and can reach an average height of 60-70cm and a spread of 30-40cm. Also, the cut flowers have a long life in the vase. The simple fact that it is a rare rose to meet recommends Lovely Green.
Recommended for cut flowers in vase and floral arrangements. The cut flower has a resistance of about 5-7 days.
Quality 1+ (premium) Year 2 bushes, very sturdy, grafted on the best rootstock in the world right now, which gives the roses vigour and great resistance over time.
