Its popularity comes from different reasons. It blooms abundantly in late spring and it has bright pink flowers. It has a wonderful, intense fragrance. It tolerates partial shade and weak soil and, due to having few thorns, it is easy to shape. The Zephirine Drouhin can grow up to 2.5 - 3.0 m in height.
