Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.

We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.

What about colder regions and winter frost?

Waiting until the shoots have fully matured helps the plants enter winter better prepared for low temperatures.

Famous Roses provides a 180-day establishment guarantee for bare-root roses.

Cinderella is a romantic shrub rose with delicate soft pink flowers, fresh fruity fragrance and repeat flowering throughout the season. Its nostalgic flower form, exceptionally healthy foliage and graceful growth make it suitable for borders, romantic gardens and elegant feature planting.

Choose it if you want a rose with old-world charm, refined fragrance and a garden presence that feels soft, elegant and quietly magical.

Full description:

Some roses impress immediately through colour or size. Cinderella works differently. Its beauty reveals itself gently, through detail, elegance and the kind of charm that feels timeless rather than dramatic.

True to its name, Cinderella carries something of the fairytale about it. Its delicate flowers preserve the nostalgic beauty of old roses, opening in soft romantic tones with perfectly arranged petals that seem almost untouched by time. Combined with exceptionally healthy foliage, the entire plant feels graceful and balanced from the very first blooms.

The fragrance is equally refined. Fresh and subtly fruity, it blends classic rose notes with the crisp sensation of freshly grated apple, softened by delicate powdery nuances and a gentle warmth underneath. It is the kind of scent that becomes more interesting the longer you stay near it.

Awarded gold medals in Baden-Baden, Geneva and Rome, Cinderella has earned admiration not only for its beauty but also for the harmony of the entire plant. Flowering repeatedly throughout the season, it creates a garden atmosphere that feels calm, romantic and effortlessly elegant — a rose that seems to belong naturally wherever beauty is meant to feel timeless.
