House Meilland Richardier gives us a very sturdy rose with an imposing presence, a rose worthy of its name: Charles de Gaulle. If you happened to have a rose army in your garden, this would definitely be its leader.
It’s a magnificent rose that has large, 35-40 petal flowers, about 10 cm in size and an unusual lilac colour. Its strong verbena fragrance won a prize in Belfast, in 1978. This rose has abundant flowerings, it’s very resistant to diseases and it has a rich foliage. It can grow up to 80-90 cm in height.
Recommended for cut flowers in vase and floral arrangements. The cut flower has a resistance of about 7-10 days.
Quality 1+ (premium) Year 2 bushes, very sturdy, grafted on the best rootstock in the world right now, which gives the roses vigour and great resistance over time.
Colour: Lilac Exposure: Full sun Planting: Massive/Individual Height: 0.5-1 m Width: 0.3-0.7 m Flowering: Repeatedly, May to first frost Fragrance: Strong
