When the House of Meilland Richardier decided to dedicate a rose to Jeanne Moreau that would also borrow her name, they knew it had to be an outstanding variety. One in a million, just like the great lady of French cinema. This is how this large-flower rose came to be, with its 100 blueish-white petals, a strong, intoxicating fragrance and an abundant foliage.
Jeanne Moreau has an early, abundant and uninterrupted flowering, large 14-cm flowers, and its adult height can reach 80-90cm. This rose is also recommended by the numerous distinctions and medals it has won, such as: the Medal for Fragrance in Geneva and Saverne in 2002, the Silver Medal in Baden-Baden from 2002, the Le Roeulx Certificate in 2002 and the Gifu Bronze Medal (Japan) from 2008.
Recommended for cut flowers in vase and floral arrangements. The cut flower has a resistance of about 7-10 days.
Quality 1+ (premium) Year 2 bushes, very sturdy, grafted on the best rootstock in the world right now, which gives the roses vigour and great resistance over time.
