Simply “BATHSHEBA” – a remarkable rose created by David Austin, taking your breath away from its very first bloom. Apricot-yellow buds open into lush rosettes filled with petals, releasing a refined myrrh fragrance with subtle hints of honey and tea. Its romantic, peony-like flowers present a charming blend of soft apricot-pink and pale yellow hues, creating an overall apricot impression, with the outer petals showing creamy tones.
This rose forms a vigorous, medium-sized climber, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your garden. Its name was inspired by the heroine in Thomas Hardy’s film Far from the Madding Crowd.
It blooms repeatedly throughout the season, and at maturity, it can reach heights of around 2 to 2.5 meters.
