Bare-root roses are available to order now. We guarantee growth & variety. Delivery November 2026. Close ↑
Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.
We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.
What about colder regions and winter frost?
Waiting until the shoots have fully matured helps the plants enter winter better prepared for low temperatures.
Famous Roses provides a 6 months establishment guarantee for bare-root roses.

The House of Meilland Richardier is honoured to invite you to attend the coronation ceremony of Her Majesty the Princess of Monaco, heiress to the throne of the most beautiful flowers in your garden. With her every appearance, the Princesse de Monaco is wearing a dress made of bicolour flowers, in shades of white and pink edges. These flowers are about 13-14cm in size and the climber has a beautiful and bright dark green foliage which can grow over 2 m in height.
Princesse de Monaco is a healthy and sturdy rose, with a regular and balanced shape, as well as abundant flowerings. For its remarkable qualities, this rose won the silver medal at the Roeulx show. Bring a few Princesse de Monaco saplings to your garden and they will make you feel you’re in the garden of a palace.
Quality 1+ (premium) Year 2 bushes, very sturdy, grafted on vigorous, high-quality rootstock, which gives the roses vigour and great resistance over time.
