Claude Monet is a rose shaped by light. Its colours do not follow a fixed design: yellow, cream and shades of pink appear in irregular strokes, becoming softer or more intense as the flower opens and the sunlight changes. No two blooms are completely alike, and the bush continually offers new combinations throughout the season.

Introduced by Georges Delbard in 1992, it was one of the pioneering varieties in the celebrated Roses de Peintres collection. The series was inspired by the Impressionists’ ability to capture changing light through separate touches of colour, making Claude Monet a particularly fitting name for this luminous and unpredictable rose.
