Full Description:

Jasmina has the rare ability to make every new flowering flush feel like a first encounter. Clusters of pale pink blooms appear against fresh green foliage, softening the structures they climb and drawing the eye upward through the garden.

Bred in Germany by W. Kordes & Sons and introduced in 2005, Jasmina quickly earned international recognition. Its combination of beauty, fragrance and garden performance was rewarded with four gold and silver medals.

The flowers measure approximately 6–7 cm and carry a sweet, inviting fragrance. Their delicate colouring gives the rose a romantic character without becoming overly formal, making it easy to combine with both traditional and contemporary planting schemes.

Jasmina can reach up to approximately 3 metres at maturity and flowers repeatedly throughout the season. Its healthy foliage provides a generous background for the blooms, while the flexible climbing habit allows it to be trained over arches, pergolas, trellises, fences and walls.

This is a climber for gardeners who want more than height alone: fragrance, softness and the pleasure of seeing a familiar space become beautiful again with every new flush.

Frequently asked questions →

Frequently asked questions:

What makes Jasmina such a popular climbing rose?
It combines soft pink flowers, sweet fragrance, repeat flowering and healthy foliage in a manageable climber that can reach approximately 3 metres.

Does Jasmina flower more than once?
Yes. Jasmina produces repeated flowering flushes throughout the season rather than blooming only once.

How strong is the fragrance?
The fragrance is sweet and noticeable, especially when the rose is planted near a path, terrace, arch or seating area.

How large are the flowers?
The blooms are approximately 6–7 cm across and are usually produced in attractive clusters.

How tall does Jasmina grow?
It can reach up to approximately 3 metres, depending on climate, soil, pruning and growing conditions.

Does Jasmina need support?
Yes. It should be tied to a sturdy arch, pergola, trellis, fence or wall support because climbing roses do not cling naturally.

How should I train the stems?
Guide the main canes horizontally or diagonally whenever possible. This helps encourage more flowering shoots along the length of the plant.

Is Jasmina suitable for a smaller garden?
Yes, provided it has a suitable vertical support. Training it upward allows you to create a generous display without using too much ground space.

Where should I plant Jasmina?
Choose a sunny position with good air circulation and enough room for the stems to develop. Planting near a frequently used area will help you enjoy its fragrance more often.

What plants combine well with Jasmina?
White roses, lavender, nepeta, blue salvia and silver foliage complement its pale pink flowers. Clematis can also be trained nearby for a layered vertical display.

Why has Jasmina received international awards?
Its medals recognise the successful combination of attractive flowers, fragrance, healthy foliage and reliable garden performance.

What does the rose look like on delivery?
Its appearance depends on the delivery season and natural stage of growth. For examples and explanations, see What roses look like on delivery →.

What should I do after planting?
Plant beside a sturdy support, water thoroughly and begin tying in the new stems as they grow. For detailed guidance, visit our complete planting guide →.
