Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.

We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.

What about colder regions and winter frost?

Waiting until the shoots have fully matured helps the plants enter winter better prepared for low temperatures.

Famous Roses provides a 180-day establishment guarantee for bare-root roses.

La Rose des 4 Vents is a floribunda rose with vibrant raspberry-pink flowers, a delicate fragrance of red fruits and woody notes, and repeat flowering throughout the season. Created by Delbard, it combines abundant blooms, elegant growth and a distinctive personality that makes it a memorable addition to any garden.

Choose it if you want a rose that feels both refined and full of character, rewarding every flowering season with colour, fragrance and charm.

Full description:

La Rose des 4 Vents is one of those roses that seems to carry a little mystery with it. Created by Delbard, it offers far more than beautiful flowers. It has a presence that gradually reveals itself, becoming more appreciated with every flowering season.

The flowers appear in rich raspberry-pink tones that bring brightness and vitality to the garden. Their colouring is cheerful yet elegant, creating a display that feels equally at home in traditional rose gardens and more contemporary planting schemes.

The fragrance is subtle but distinctive. Notes of red fruits mingle with soft woody undertones, creating a perfume that feels warm, inviting and quietly sophisticated. Rather than demanding attention, it rewards those who take the time to come closer.

La Rose des 4 Vents is not the kind of rose that simply fills a space. It creates a connection. Some varieties impress immediately, while others seem to choose their place slowly, becoming part of the garden’s atmosphere season after season. This is very much one of those roses.

Flowering repeatedly throughout the season, La Rose des 4 Vents develops into a healthy, well-balanced shrub that fills the garden with colour and life. Suitable both for garden enjoyment and for cutting, it is a variety that combines beauty, fragrance and personality in equal measure.
