Bare-root roses are available to order now, with deliveries starting on 26 October. Close ↑
Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.
We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.
What about colder regions and winter frost?
Waiting until the shoots have fully matured helps the plants enter winter better prepared for low temperatures.
Famous Roses provides a 180-day establishment guarantee for bare-root roses.

Full description:
Lolita Lempicka® makes its presence felt before you even notice how far it has climbed. First comes the fragrance; then the intense raspberry-magenta flowers draw the eye across the structure it covers.
Created by Meilland and dedicated to the French fashion designer and perfumer Lolita Lempicka, this climbing form carries the same flower characteristics as the large-flowered bush rose released in 2002.
The elegant flowers open around a high-centred heart and can reach up to 13 cm. Their intense, persistent perfume blends lemon, apricot and Golden apple with rosy and woody notes.
The first flowering is spectacular in late spring to early summer. More scattered flowers continue through summer, followed by a stronger repeat in autumn.
Its exceptionally vigorous canes easily exceed 2–3 metres and can cover large surfaces. Train the strong main stems horizontally where possible to encourage flowering side shoots along their length.
The dense, semi-matt green foliage has excellent disease resistance, making a handsome backdrop for the richly coloured flowers.
