Discover the romance of Eden on a more intimate scale with Mini Eden Rose, an elegant Meilland climbing rose covered in charming miniature blooms. Each flower opens with a bright pink heart that gradually softens to creamy white outer petals, creating a delicate two-tone display. Reaching approximately 1.5–2.5 metres, it flowers repeatedly throughout the season with a light fragrance and graceful climbing habit, bringing emotional connection and story to every corner of your garden.

Choose it if you love the timeless beauty of the legendary Eden Rose but want a lighter, more delicate climber that dresses arches, fences and pergolas with hundreds of romantic miniature flowers.

Full Description:

Some roses impress with their size. Others win hearts through elegance. Mini Eden Rose belongs to the second category. It doesn't ask for attention with enormous flowers or dramatic colours. Instead, it quietly transforms an ordinary garden into a place that feels softer, gentler and somehow more magical.

Created by the House of Meilland, Mini Eden Rose captures everything gardeners love about the world-famous Pierre de Ronsard, then expresses it in miniature. Like reading a favourite love story written in delicate handwriting, every flower carries the same romance in a more intimate form.

The small, perfectly formed blooms open with a vivid pink centre that slowly fades into creamy white outer petals, creating an elegant gradient that makes every flower appear hand-painted. Individually they are charming; together they become breathtaking, covering the plant with hundreds of little roses that seem to float above the dark green foliage.

Flowering begins in late spring and returns continuously throughout the season. Each new flush brings another wave of colour, allowing arches, pergolas, fences and pillars to become increasingly beautiful as summer progresses.

Growing to approximately 1.5–2.5 metres, Mini Eden Rose is easier to accommodate than many vigorous climbers while still creating impressive vertical interest. Its healthy foliage provides the perfect backdrop for the delicate flowers, while the light fragrance adds another layer of enjoyment during quiet moments in the garden.

There are roses that decorate a structure. Mini Eden Rose changes the atmosphere around it. Walk beneath its flowering branches and you'll understand why so many gardeners describe it not simply as beautiful, but as enchanting.

Frequently Asked Questions →

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is Mini Eden Rose related to Pierre de Ronsard?
Yes. Mini Eden Rose was inspired by the famous Eden Rose family and captures its romantic flower form and colouring in a more compact, miniature-flowered climbing rose.

How is Mini Eden Rose different from Pierre de Ronsard?
Mini Eden Rose produces much smaller flowers but in far greater numbers. It also has a more restrained climbing habit, making it suitable for smaller spaces while preserving the same romantic charm.

What colour are the flowers?
Each bloom opens with a vivid pink centre that gently fades into creamy white outer petals, creating an elegant two-tone effect.

Does Mini Eden Rose flower repeatedly?
Yes. It flowers generously in repeated flushes from late spring until the first frost.

Is it fragrant?
Yes. The flowers have a light, delicate fragrance that complements their romantic appearance.

How tall does Mini Eden Rose grow?
It generally reaches between 1.5 and 2.5 metres, making it easier to manage than many vigorous climbing roses.

Does it need a climbing support?
Yes. Like all climbing roses, it should be tied to a trellis, pergola, arch, pillar or fence as it develops.

Is it suitable for smaller gardens?
Absolutely. Its moderate height allows gardeners with limited space to enjoy the elegance of a climbing rose without overwhelming the garden.

Can Mini Eden Rose be grown in a large container?
Yes. A deep container with excellent drainage and a permanent support allows it to perform beautifully on terraces and patios.

Where should I plant it?
Choose a sunny location where the flowers can be appreciated at eye level—near an entrance, pergola, seating area or garden path.

Which plants pair beautifully with Mini Eden Rose?
Lavender, nepeta, white clematis, blue salvia and silver foliage all complement its soft pink-and-cream flowers while enhancing its romantic character.

Is Mini Eden Rose suitable for beginners?
Yes. Its manageable size and repeat flowering make it an excellent introduction to climbing roses, especially when planted in full sun and provided with a sturdy support.

What makes Mini Eden Rose special?
It offers the unmistakable romance of the famous Eden Rose family in a more delicate, compact climber. Instead of a few spectacular flowers, it rewards gardeners with countless miniature blooms that create an enchanting display throughout the season.
