Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.
We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.
What about colder regions and winter frost?
Waiting until the shoots have fully matured helps the plants enter winter better prepared for low temperatures.

The Red Drift, a creation of the House of Meilland Richardier, is a groundcover rose that brings a touch of elegance and refinement in our homes and in our lives. Due to its compact shape, the Red Drift can adjust perfectly to your balcony or in planters. It has small flowers with 24 brightly-red petals which come around in abundant and repeated flowerings. The flower is about 2-3 cm in size. This wonderful rose has an excellent resistance to diseases and low temperatures and it can grow up to 20-30 cm in height.
