Bare-root roses are available to order now. We guarantee growth & variety. Delivery November 2026. Close ↑
Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.
We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.
What about colder regions and winter frost?
Waiting until the shoots have fully matured helps the plants enter winter better prepared for low temperatures.
Famous Roses provides a 6 months establishment guarantee for bare-root roses.

The Red Drift, a creation of the House of Meilland Richardier, is a groundcover rose that brings a touch of elegance and refinement in our homes and in our lives. That's what groundcover roses do, this is their purpose. They enrich and enliven the space around us, giving us glimpses of joy every time we see them.
Due to its compact shape, the Red Drift can adjust perfectly to your balcony or in planters. It has small flowers with 24 brightly-red petals which come around in abundant and repeated flowerings. The flower is about 2-3 cm in size. This wonderful rose has an excellent resistance to diseases and low temperatures and it can grow up to 20-30 cm in height. If you want to get lost in your surroundings once in a while, we recommend the Red Drift.
Quality 1+ (premium) Year 2 bushes, very sturdy, grafted on vigorous, high-quality rootstock, which gives the roses vigour and great resistance over time.
