Full description:
Michelangelo is a rose with a name that naturally invites expectation. Created by Alain Meilland and dedicated to one of the greatest artists in history, this variety brings a sense of light, proportion and refinement into the garden.
Its large yellow flowers open with elegance, each bloom formed from approximately 42 petals. The colour is bright and confident without feeling excessive, creating a warm focal point in borders, feature planting and cut flower areas.
The fragrance adds a fresh and distinctive note to the experience. With its lemon scent, Michelangelo feels lively, clean and uplifting — the kind of rose that rewards being planted where it can be admired and enjoyed up close.
Flowering repeatedly throughout the season and reaching up to approximately 150 cm at maturity, Michelangelo offers height, colour and lasting garden presence. Its flowers are also well suited for cutting, bringing the same artistic elegance into vases and floral arrangements. This is one of those roses we would choose when the garden needs brightness with character, not just colour.
