Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.
We do not force the season simply to ship earlier. We wait for the right point in the plant’s natural cycle, so you receive a strong, well-matured rose ready for planting and the season ahead.
What about colder regions and winter frost?

Guillot N°1 is more than a rose — it is a symbol of French horticultural tradition and excellence. The large flowers, measuring 10–12 cm in diameter, are densely double, with approximately 90–120 petals arranged in a perfectly formed rosette, reminiscent of some of the finest French garden roses. Delicate shades of pale pink, with soft pastel reflections and a slightly deeper-toned centre, give the plant an elegant and romantic appearance that immediately draws the eye.
Fragrance is one of the most impressive qualities of this variety. Guillot N°1 has a very intense and sophisticated scent, with rich notes of Damask rose, ripe fruit and spicy nuances. The fragrance lingers gently around the plant, turning each flowering into a memorable sensory experience.
