Famous Roses annab paljasjuursetele roosidele 180-päevase juurdumisgarantii.

Full description:
Some roses bring softness to a garden. Georges Denjean brings light. Its flowers open in glowing golden yellow, each petal finely traced with coral pink, as though the edges had been touched with colour by hand.
Created by the historic French house Guillot, this Générosa® rose has the romantic character of an old garden variety but the stronger flowering performance expected from a modern shrub. The blooms are richly filled and quartered, giving them a sculpted, classical appearance despite their lively colouring.
The young shoots emerge with reddish tones before developing into mature green foliage, creating an attractive contrast even before the flowers begin to dominate the plant.
Fragrance is one of Georges Denjean's defining qualities. The flowers are intensely perfumed, making this rose especially rewarding near a terrace, entrance, path or garden seat where the scent can be enjoyed naturally throughout the day.
Flowering is exceptionally generous and repeat-performing. From May until November, new blooms continue to appear, renewing the display throughout the season rather than concentrating all their beauty into one short flowering period.
Reaching approximately 1 metre, Georges Denjean develops into an upright, vigorous shrub suited to rose beds, mixed borders and individual planting. The flowers also hold well in a vase, making the variety an excellent choice for colourful, fragrant bouquets.
Georges Denjean is a rose for gardeners who want warmth rather than restraint: golden light, coral detail and a strong perfume that makes its presence known long before the season is over.

Frequently asked questions:
What colour are Georges Denjean's flowers?
The flowers are golden yellow with fine coral-pink edging on the petals. The contrast becomes especially attractive as several blooms open at different stages across the shrub.
Are Georges Denjean's flowers cream or champagne coloured?
Guillot's current description identifies the variety primarily as golden yellow with coral-pink edging rather than cream or champagne. Light and flower maturity can soften the tones, but the warm golden colouring is a defining characteristic.
How large are the flowers?
Guillot currently lists the flowers at approximately 7 cm in diameter. Their very full, quartered form gives them a richer appearance than their measured size alone might suggest.
How fragrant is Georges Denjean?
Very fragrant. Strong perfume is one of the key reasons to choose this variety, particularly for planting near frequently used parts of the garden.
Does Georges Denjean flower repeatedly?
Yes. It is described by Guillot as very repeat flowering, producing new blooms from May until November and offering a long season of colour and fragrance.
How tall does Georges Denjean grow?
It reaches approximately 1 metre, forming an upright shrub that creates good presence without requiring the space of a large shrub or climbing rose.
Where should I plant Georges Denjean?
Choose a sunny position where the fragrance can be appreciated. It works particularly well in rose beds, mixed borders or as an individual specimen near a terrace or path.
Can Georges Denjean be used in bouquets?
Yes. Its flowers have good vase performance, and their golden-yellow colouring, coral edging and strong perfume make them particularly attractive in garden bouquets.
Is Georges Denjean suitable for a smaller garden?
Yes. Its approximately 1 m height gives it enough presence to create impact while remaining manageable in compact borders and smaller gardens.
Can Georges Denjean be grown in a container?
It can be grown in a large, deep container with good drainage, regular watering and consistent feeding during the growing season.
What do the young shoots look like?
New growth emerges with reddish tones before maturing to green, adding another layer of colour and interest to the shrub.
Which plants combine well with Georges Denjean?
Lavender, nepeta, blue salvia and purple geraniums provide a beautiful contrast with its golden-yellow and coral colouring. Cream and white flowers create a softer composition.
What makes Georges Denjean different from other yellow roses?
Its combination of golden-yellow petals, coral-pink edging, intense fragrance, romantic quartered flower form and very generous repeat flowering gives it a much more individual character than a conventional single-colour yellow rose.
What does the rose look like on delivery?
Its appearance depends on the delivery season and natural stage of growth. For examples and explanations, see What roses look like on delivery →.
