Paljasjuurseid roose saab juba tellida ning tarned algavad 26. oktoobril. Sulge ↑
Famous Roses annab paljasjuursetele roosidele 180-päevase juurdumisgarantii.

Full description:
Before Lancôme became synonymous with some of the world's most recognisable perfumes and beauty creations, there was already a rose at the heart of its identity. Founder Armand Petitjean loved roses so deeply that the flower became the emblem of the house.
Then, in 1973, that emblem became a living rose of its own. Georges Delbard created a unique variety especially for Lancôme: elegant, intensely fuchsia and unmistakably French.
Its pointed buds rise on long stems before opening into beautifully structured Hybrid Tea flowers. The petals are thick, smooth and luminous, with a saturated fuchsia-pink colour that gives the blooms the polished appearance of silk under light.
Each flower carries up to approximately 40 petals. Rather than the densely quartered form of an old garden rose, Lancôme displays the poised, high-centred silhouette traditionally associated with elegant cut roses.
The plant develops an upright habit of approximately 80–105 cm, with dark green, slightly glossy foliage. Its relatively restrained width makes it easy to position in rose beds, mixed borders or more formal planting schemes where the flower form can be appreciated individually.
Repeat flowering brings further blooms throughout the growing season, while the long stems make Lancôme particularly suitable for cutting. A few flowers in a simple vase are enough to reveal exactly why the variety was chosen to represent a house built around elegance.
Lancôme is therefore much more than a rose carrying a luxury name. It is part of the history of Lancôme itself—a flower created to embody its identity, now available to become part of the story of your own garden.

Frequently asked questions:
Was the Lancôme rose really created for Lancôme?
Yes. Georges Delbard developed the variety especially for the French beauty house in 1973. It became the living expression of the rose that had already played an important role in Lancôme's identity.
Why is the rose connected so strongly with Lancôme?
Lancôme founder Armand Petitjean was passionate about roses, and the flower became the symbol of the house. This particular fuchsia variety was later created by Delbard specifically for Lancôme.
What colour are Lancôme's flowers?
The flowers are a rich, saturated fuchsia to deep pink. Their thick petals have a luminous quality that gives the blooms a particularly polished and elegant appearance.
What shape are the flowers?
Lancôme has the classic form of a Hybrid Tea rose, with elegant pointed buds opening into high-centred double flowers rather than densely quartered old-fashioned rosettes.
How large are the flowers?
The blooms are generally approximately 7–10 cm across, depending on climate, soil and growing conditions.
How many petals does Lancôme have?
Flowers generally contain approximately 26–40 petals. Lancôme itself describes the variety as having up to 40 thick and glossy petals.
Is Lancôme strongly fragrant?
No. This variety is primarily valued for its colour, elegant flower form, long stems and historic connection with Lancôme rather than for perfume.
Does Lancôme flower repeatedly?
Yes. It produces repeated flowering flushes through the growing season, with further blooms developing after the first display.
How tall does Lancôme grow?
It generally reaches approximately 80–105 cm, forming an upright shrub that fits easily into rose beds and mixed borders.
How wide does the plant become?
Expect approximately 50–70 cm at maturity, depending on pruning, climate and growing conditions.
Is Lancôme suitable for cut flowers?
Yes. Its long stems, pointed buds and elegant Hybrid Tea flower form make it especially well suited to cutting and simple vase arrangements.
Where should I plant Lancôme?
Choose a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. A prominent position near a path or terrace allows the distinctive fuchsia colour and elegant flower form to be appreciated closely.
Can several Lancôme roses be planted together?
Yes. Planting several bushes creates a stronger block of fuchsia colour and gives the variety a more luxurious, formal appearance in a dedicated rose bed.
Can Lancôme grow in a container?
Yes. Its upright, relatively compact habit makes it suitable for a large, deep container with good drainage, regular feeding and consistent watering.
Is Lancôme suitable for a smaller garden?
Yes. Its moderate height and width allow it to deliver strong colour and elegant flowers without requiring the space of a large shrub or climbing rose.
Which plants combine well with Lancôme?
White roses, lavender, nepeta, silver foliage and deep purple perennials all complement its intense fuchsia colour. Cream planting creates a softer and particularly refined contrast.
What makes Lancôme different from other pink Hybrid Tea roses?
Its appeal lies not only in its intense fuchsia colour and elegant long-stemmed flowers, but in its provenance: this is the rose Georges Delbard created specifically for Lancôme, giving it a genuine connection with one of France's most recognisable luxury houses.
