Bare-root roses are lifted only after they enter dormancy and the shoots have fully matured and hardened. Lifting them too early can stress the plants and leave young growth insufficiently mature.

Raziskovalec in veliki ljubitelj vrtnic Stefan Wagner je želel, da bi ves svet odkril in se zaljubil v to prav posebno stvaritev, poimenovano preprosto: Wagnerjeva najljubša. Gre za spektakularno hibridno čajevko, ustvarjeno v Romuniji leta 2012.
Wagnerjeva najljubša je izjemna vrtnica z ravno rastjo, ki doseže približno 80-85 cm v višino. Ima srednje debele veje in srednje velike liste, pobarvane v sijočih odtenkih temno zelene barve. Cvetovi so veliki, veliki več kot 8 cm in imajo 30-32 cvetnih listov, vendar brez vonja. Cvetovi so rdeče-oranžni, ki proti dnu cvetnih listov prehajajo v rumene. Wagnerjeva najljubša ima dolgo življenjsko dobo v vazah, njeni cvetovi trajajo 4-6 dni. Zato jo priporočamo za šopke.
